Georgia Electronic Life Safety & Systems Association

January President's Message

Dear GELSSA Members and Friends,

As we kick off 2024, I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of getting involved and making the most of your GELSSA membership. This year, we are committed to delivering valuable networking, education, and advocacy opportunities at our quarterly events, and your participation is what makes them truly impactful.

Our first big event of the year—the Q1 Membership Meeting & Expo—is happening Friday, March 7th at the Governors Gun Club in Kennesaw, GA. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with industry peers, meet top-tier vendors, and gain insights to help grow your business. If you haven’t attended a GELSSA event in a while, now is the time to check out the new GELSSA and see what we’re all about!

I encourage all of our members to show up, get engaged, and take full advantage of the resources, education, and relationships that GELSSA provides. Strong participation leads to a stronger association—and a stronger industry.

Also, stay tuned for exciting education announcements coming in February! We’ve been working hard to develop new professional development pathways that will help raise the bar for our industry and provide the tools you need to take your business to the next level. You won’t want to miss what we have in store!

In addition to the awesome lineup of education and networking at the Q1 Meeting, we are calling all sharpshooters and firearm enthusiasts! Get ready to showcase your skills during the pistol competition that will cap off our event from 3-4pm. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or a newcomer eager to test your aim, this event promises to ignite your competitive spirit. Don't miss this opportunity to challenge yourself, meet fellow enthusiasts, and vie for top honors in a thrilling atmosphere.

Don’t miss out—register today and join us on March 7th for an event you won’t want to miss!

Sincerely,

Brandon Shepard
